Introduction
This course is designed to give learners the basic understanding of a SHE Management System in their organisation. The tools received during this course, will assist with the continual improvement plan of their organisation.
Course Objectives
- The objective of this course is to provide delegates with the understanding of the purpose, scope, knowledge & skill of recognizing hazards & risks that may affect their health & safety or the health & safety of their fellow employees as well as how to effectively report them. This will be achieved by:
- Using & understanding SHEQ terminology
- Evaluating the legal importance of the OHS Act
- Discussing accepted SHEQ concepts
- Reporting problems/deviations
- Performing an emergency evacuation drill
- Differentiating between the SHE disciplines
- Integrating the SHE disciplines
