The role of management as a change agent and facilitators of the required safety culture in the organisation is key in ensuring continuous improvement and sustainable development. How we act, re-act and manage ourselves have a direct impact on how the people in our organization take decisions, prioritise and act. This course relates these principles to safety and successful safety leadership, especially for middle, senior and executive management.
Course Objectives
This course provides learners with an understanding of the key principle of leading by example and coaching to ensure a learning organization through one on one coaching and facilitation of supervisors and employees in the workplace.
This course will ensure that not only are high level safety and technical knowledge transferred to supervisors and people on shop floor level increasing competence and effectiveness (coaching), but will also help to improve relationships amongst their peers, supervisors and sub-ordinates.
